The Maharashtra General Administration Department issued a notification regarding the holiday reschedule in the Mumbai city and suburban districts. The move was in line to prevent an overlap with Anant Chaturdashi on September 6, 2025. As per the RBI ruling, no translations or settlements will take place in forex, government securities, money markets, or rupee interest rate derivatives.
