Securities Japan offers both corporate and individual accounts, but they are only available for Japaness residents and corporations.

Securities Japan offers its customers a clear charge schedule. Here are the stock commission fees, for example.

Online transaction fee

Commission per transaction planSpot trading: 1,100 yen per transaction for amounts under 1 million yen; Over 1 million yen: 1,650 yen
Margin trading: JPY 1,100 per transaction regardless of contract price
1-day flat rate course2,200 yen for every 3 million yen of daily transaction amount

Note:

  • For daily flat rate plans, if transactions are 30 or more, an extra fee of 22,000 yen (tax included) applies.
  • Customers who opened an account through a financial product intermediary cannot choose the daily flat rate plan.
  • You can change your fee plan daily by completing the procedure on the transaction screen by 4:00 p.m. for the next business day.
