The transition process will disable claim submission and processing through the EPFO portal from 00:00 hours (midnight) on June 26, 2026, to 23:59 hours on June 28, 2026.
The processing of claims submitted before the migration period will resume after the scheduled portal downtime.

Even during the software upgrade period, EPFO subscribers can check their provident fund balance, passbook of several EPF accounts or track their application status through WhatsApp, missed call, SMS or the UMANG app.
While the three-day shutdown of EPFO's online services from June 26 to June 28, 2026, may temporarily disrupt claim submissions and processing, subscribers need not panic. Importantly, subscribers will continue to have access to essential information during the downtime through alternative channels such as the UMANG app, WhatsApp, SMS, and the missed-call facility. These options ensure that members can still track their EPF accounts and stay informed about their provident fund status.
