The Financial markets Authority (FMA) is a New Zealand government agency responsible for enforcing securities, financial reporting and company law as they apply to financial services and securities markets. The FMA also regulates securities exchanges, financial advisers and brokers, auditors, trustees and issuers - including issuers of KiwiSaver and superannuation schemes. It jointly oversees designated settlement systems in New Zealand, with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ). FMA is a member of New Zealand’s Council of Financial Regulators.

The following overseas regulators have cautioned the public about RB Options: Australian Securities and Investments Commission, 11 May 2017; Ontario Securities Commission (Canada), 18 March 2014; British Columbia Securities Commission (Canada), 10 January 2014. We are aware that the website is currently promoting IQ Option, and we are concerned they are associated. IQ Option is also operating via www.iqoption.com. The following overseas regulators have issued warnings about IQ Option, and IQ Option Ltd or Iqoption Europe Ltd as they are not authorised to operate in these jurisdictions: CVM (Brazil), 8 May 2020: (Warning in local language); and British Columbia Securities Commission (Canada), 2 March 2016. We recommend exercising caution before dealing with these entities as they are not registered companies or financial service providers in New Zealand.
