Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Tokyo as planned to visit the broker FXTF. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 4F, Mita Kawasaki Building, 2-11-15 Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo 108-0073.
Based on this address, the professional inspection team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of FXTF.
The inspection team traveled to the Mita area of Minato-ku, Tokyo, and arrived at the Mita Kawasaki Building. The building boasts a pleasant corporate campus and streetscape, a vibrant business atmosphere, and a combination of convenience and comfort. From the exterior, the inspection team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building.
The inspection team successfully entered the building lobby, which was consistent with the characteristics of a commercial office building. Upon checking the lobby sign, they found relevant company information, confirming its location on the 4th floor.
The inspection team proceeded to the 4th floor, successfully reaching the specific floor and confirming their location, and were able to enter the building interior. The reception desk was visible from both the exterior and interior, but no FXTF logo was found. No such signage was found inside or outside the building. Of note, the company nameplate photographed by the inspection team indicated that the company had changed its name to "Golden Way Japan." This location was confirmed to be not a shared office, providing strong evidence that a legitimate business location existed at the address and that the original FXTF had changed its name.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that the address corresponding to the broker FXTF existed, but the company had changed its name.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited FXTF accordingly as planned and observed the broker's company name displayed prominently at the publicly shown business address, indicating the physical presence of the broker's business. Investors are advised to take all factors into consideration before making a decision.
