Minsk, Minsk Region, Belarus
Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging regional financial development, the Belarusian foreign exchange market has gradually established an operating system encompassing diverse institutions, making it a key venue for local investors to participate in foreign exchange transactions. To help investors gain a direct understanding of the true operational status of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Belarus.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Belarus as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Zepter Bank. Publicly available information lists its office address as Exchange point No. 2 127 Timiryazeva St., Minsk (1st floor in the parking building).
Upholding our responsibility to rigorously verify the business for investors, the professional field research team conducted an on-site visit to Zepter Bank, based on a pre-defined plan and using the publicly available address information, with the goal of establishing the broker's true business operations.
The field research team traveled to Minsk, Belarus, and conducted an on-site verification of Zepter Bank, which was claimed to be located at Exchange point No. 2 127 Timiryazeva St., Minsk (1st floor in the parking building). Upon arrival, the field research team confirmed that the broker was located within a market, surrounded by busy streets, and successfully captured panoramic photos of the parking building. While no Zepter Bank logo was visible on the exterior of the parking building, a company sign clearly marked Zepter Bank was visible in the lobby upon entering the building.
After explaining their purpose to the staff, the surveyors were successfully granted entry and directed to the first floor (the address indicated as 1st floor in the parking building), where they accurately confirmed the location of the trading point. Upon entering, they discovered that this was not a shared office but rather a dedicated trading location for Zepter Bank. The surveyors successfully photographed the reception desk, which bore the company logo.
On-site observation revealed a rather spartan office environment. Visually, the entire trading point consisted of only one room, with an estimated number of workstations. Based on the actual scene, Zepter Bank was a real trading point and operating normally.
Thus, the survey confirmed that Zepter Bank existed at the aforementioned address and had a legitimate business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited Zepter Bank as planned and observed the broker's company name and logo displayed prominently at the publicly shown business address, indicating the physical presence of the broker's business. Investors are advised to take all factors into consideration before making a decision.
