Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo as planned to visit CCIB, a brokerage firm. Its publicly listed office address is 7/F Izumi Garden Tower, 1-6-1 Roppongi, Minato-Ku, Tokyo 106-6007, Japan.
With a sense of responsibility to ensure the safety of investors, the professional field research team conducted on-site verification in Tokyo's Roppongi area based on the aforementioned address.
The field research team successfully arrived at their target building, Izumi Garden Tower. Located in the heart of Roppongi, Izumi Garden Tower is a high-end office building with a luxurious environment, home to numerous international companies and high-end commercial facilities, creating a strong business atmosphere and a distinctly international character. The field research team successfully captured a panoramic view of the building. From the exterior, the building appears modern and impressive, embodying a high-end business style.
The field research team arrived at the building entrance and successfully entered the lobby. However, after carefully searching the lobby sign, they did not find CCIB's name or any other information. Due to the building's strict security, the surveyors were unable to reach the 7th floor to confirm the specific location, nor were they allowed to enter the office areas within the building. Naturally, they were unable to photograph the reception desk or its logo. Furthermore, no company logo was found on the exterior or inside the building.
Based on the on-site situation, there was no valid evidence to support CCIB's presence at the site.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the CCIB as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
