Reasons for Field Survey

Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.

Field Survey Process

This inspection targeted the brokerage firm Asia Wealth Securities, whose publicly registered office address is 540 Mercury Tower (BTS Chit Lom Exit 4), 5th Floor, Room 501, 14th Floor, Ploenchit Road, Lumphini, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. The inspection team rigorously located and conducted verification based on this address.

Upon arrival, the inspection team successfully located the building. The streetscape was primarily business-oriented, allowing for panoramic photography. The inspection team then had unobstructed access to the building lobby, where a clear sign indicating the company was present. However, repeated searches of the signage revealed no reference to Asia Wealth Securities.

To further verify the situation, the surveyors attempted to proceed to the 5th and 14th floors listed at the address, but were stopped by building security at the elevator entrance. Security clarified that, according to building regulations, access to the office floors requires prior appointments with the target company or company personnel to pick them up. Visitors are prohibited from entering the floors without an appointment. The surveyors explained their purpose and mentioned Asia Wealth Securities. After checking internal registration information, security replied that they had no record of the company occupying the building and could not assist in contacting or allowing access.

Furthermore, the surveyors found no Asia Wealth Securities logo on the building's exterior walls or in the lobby's public areas, and were unable to capture any footage of the broker's reception desk or office areas. Upon verification, there was no core evidence to prove the actual operation of Asia Wealth Securities.

Therefore, the survey confirmed that Asia Wealth Securities did not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the Asia Wealth Securities as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
