Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Bangkok as planned to verify the office address of the forex broker NOKTRADE, listed at 114 Narathiwas Road, Silom, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
Upholding a sense of responsibility to verify the authenticity of the address for investors, the professional inspection team, after pre-planning their route, used navigation to navigate to the target area based on the publicly available address and conducted on-site verification.
After following the navigation instructions to the marked address, the inspection team captured panoramic views of the building on-site and discovered that the building primarily served commercial and hotel functions, which did not fully match the expected scenario of a broker's office space. Furthermore, because the publicly available address only indicated the street number and road, without specifying the specific floor or unit, the incomplete information made it impossible to locate the office area and, therefore, to locate the corresponding corporate campus or street environment.
The surveyors then entered the building's lobby through a public passageway and immediately checked the floor signage and public area signs. After repeated inspection, they found no reference to NOKTRADE's name, office floor, or unit. They also conducted a thorough inspection of the lobby and building exterior, but found no trace of the NOKTRADE logo. Unable to confirm the specific office location, the surveyors contacted the lobby information desk, who stated that they had no record of NOKTRADE's presence and, due to the building's functional characteristics, could not provide floor access permits for non-registered entities.
The surveyors also confirmed from lobby signage and communication with property management that the building's core area is dedicated to commercial or hotel space, not shared office space.
The surveyors then further inspected the area surrounding the Pixel Building and along Narathiwas Road, but found no trace of NOKTRADE's office or promotional signs, ultimately failing to confirm the broker's presence at the listed address.
Therefore, the survey confirmed that NOKTRADE does not exist at the publicly listed address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the NOKTRADE as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
