Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo as planned to conduct an on-site inspection of JFS Brokers. Publicly available information lists its office address as Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, 6 Chome-10-1 Roppongi, Minato City, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan.
The professional and experienced field research team, driven by a sense of responsibility to conduct rigorous verification for investors, followed a carefully crafted plan and traveled to Tokyo. Based on the aforementioned address, they conducted an on-site inspection of JFS Brokers.
Based on the address information, the field research team traveled to the Roppongi area of Tokyo's Minato Ward, attempting to locate JFS Brokers at Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. The field research team successfully arrived at the building, a premium office building in Roppongi. The company campus and surrounding streets are luxurious, and the field research team successfully captured panoramic views of the building.
The field research team was able to enter the company lobby, but upon closer inspection, they found no JFS Brokers name on the signage inside the building, and no company logo was found on the exterior or interior.
Due to strict building security and the requirement for an appointment, the inspection team was unable to reach the specific floor, confirm the specific location, or enter the company. The address was not a shared office, and no photo could be taken of the reception desk with the JFS BROKERS logo. Although the office environment was described as luxurious, the lack of access made it impossible to verify the specifics, including the number of rooms and workstations.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that the broker, JFS BROKERS, did not exist at the aforementioned address, and the address did not match the one listed on the inspection form.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the JFS BROKERS as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
