Reasons for Field Survey
Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field inspection team traveled to Hong Kong as planned to conduct an on-site inspection of the Mexico broker. Publicly available information indicates its office address is Unit B, 5/F, Gaylord Commercial Building, 114-118 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
The professional and experienced field inspection team, driven by a sense of responsibility to rigorously verify the business for investors, followed a carefully crafted plan and traveled to Hong Kong. Based on the aforementioned address, they conducted an on-site inspection of the Mexico broker.
Based on the address information, the field inspection team traveled to the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong and conducted an on-site inspection of the Mexico broker, which claimed to be located at Unit B, 5/F, Gaylord Commercial Building, 114-118 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
The field inspection team successfully arrived at the Gaylord Commercial Building, which appeared to be older, with average-looking corporate campuses and streetscapes. From the exterior, the field inspection team successfully captured a panoramic view of the building, but did not find any signs related to the Mexico broker.
The field inspection team entered the building lobby without incident. Inside, the field inspection team carefully examined the signage, but did not find the Mexico brokerage name. Furthermore, no Mexico logo was found inside or outside the building.
The surveyors noted that the hallways were extremely narrow, only allowing two people to pass at a time, creating a very crowded atmosphere. The elevators were also very small. After taking the elevator to the fifth floor, the surveyors searched the entire floor but found no information related to Mexico. They were unable to confirm the specific office location, and naturally, were unable to enter the alleged company. The overall appearance of the building indicated that the address was not a shared office, and no photos of a reception desk with the Mexico logo could be seen from the exterior or any other observable angle.
Thus, the survey confirmed that the trading company Mexico did not exist at the aforementioned address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker Mexico as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
