Purpose
The Singapore foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that developed in the 1970s alongside the rise of the Asian dollar market. As the world's fourth-largest forex trading hub, it features flexible trading hours, a diverse range of trading products, and a variety of market participants. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, an on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Singapore.
Process
The on-site inspection team proceeded to Singapore as planned to conduct a field visit to the forex broker Zidfinance Global. According to publicly available information, its office address is 12 MARINA BOULEVARD, TOWER 3, #17 - 01 MARINA BAY FINANCIAL CENTRE, SINGAPORE 018982.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Singapore following a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer Zidfinance Global.
The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the trader Zidfinance Global claimed to be located at 12 MARINA BOULEVARD, TOWER 3, #17 - 01 MARINA BAY FINANCIAL CENTRE, SINGAPORE 018982.
The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is one of the best office buildings in Singapore, located in the bustling Marina Bay Financial Centre. The surrounding environment is extremely luxurious, with a strong commercial atmosphere, and the map location exudes opulence. The building houses large financial companies. However, no signage or relevant information about the company was found on the exterior of the building.
The on-site inspector entered the building lobby and explained their purpose to the security personnel. After communication, they obtained permission to enter the lobby. However, the company's directory board was not found inside the lobby.
Due to the inability to obtain access to the target floor, the field investigator failed to reach the specific floor and confirm the exact location of the company. Naturally, they could not enter the company premises, take photos of the reception area or the logo at the front desk. The office space in question is not a shared workspace.
Through the lobby area, the on-site inspector was unable to observe the internal environment of the company. The overall situation does not align with its claimed positioning of having a fixed office location.
Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that the dealer Zidfinance Global does not exist at the above address.
Conclusion
The on-site investigator visited the forex broker Zidfinance Global in Singapore as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, no information such as the company name of the broker could be found, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
