Pathum Wan, Bangkok, Thailand

Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team conducted a planned on-site visit to the forex broker DBS in Thailand. Publicly available information lists its office address as 989 Siam Piwat Tower, 9th, 14th-15th Floor, Rama 1 Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
Upholding the responsibility of rigorous verification for investors, the professional field research team conducted an on-site visit to DBS based on the established plan and the publicly available address, aiming to establish the broker's true business operations.
The field research team traveled to the Pathumwan District in Bangkok, Thailand, and conducted an on-site verification of the DBS office, which was claimed to be located at 989 Siam Piwat Tower, 9th, 14th-15th Floor, Rama 1 Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. Upon arrival, the field research team confirmed that the office was located in Siam Piwat Tower, a landmark shopping mall in Thailand. The surrounding streets were bustling, crowded, and filled with a vibrant commercial atmosphere, allowing the field research team to successfully capture panoramic photos of the building. No DBS logo was found on the building's exterior. Upon entering the lobby, a company sign clearly displayed DBS and the corresponding office floors, 9th and 14th-15th.
After explaining their purpose to the lobby staff, the surveyors were allowed to move around the lobby area. However, the staff explained that due to strict building security, access to the DBS floors required advance reservations. Without reservations, the elevators could not reach the target floors. Therefore, the surveyors were unable to reach the 9th and 14th-15th floors and were unable to confirm the company's specific office locations within those floors.
However, in the lobby's public area, the surveyors successfully photographed the reception desk with the DBS logo. Furthermore, through communication with staff and on-site observation, it was determined that the office space was exclusively DBS, not a shared office. The lobby decor and surrounding area suggested a bustling atmosphere. However, without access to the floors, the surveyors were unable to count the number of rooms and workstations. Based on on-site verification, DBS's presence at Siam Piwat Tower is clearly documented, with authentic business operations.
Thus, the on-site inspection confirmed that DBS exists at the aforementioned address and has a legitimate office space.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited DBS as planned and observed the broker's company name and logo displayed prominently at the publicly shown business address, indicating the physical presence of the broker's business. Investors are advised to take all factors into consideration before making a decision.
