Pathum Wan, Bangkok, Thailand
Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Bangkok as planned to inspect the forex broker Tradehall, whose publicly listed office address is Office S 405, No. 111 Phayathai Road, Thanon-phetburi, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400.
Upholding a sense of responsibility to verify the authenticity of the information for investors, the professional inspection team, after preliminary route planning, headed to Phayathai Road in the Ratchathewi area of Bangkok, where they conducted on-site inspections based on the publicly listed address.
The inspection team successfully arrived at the target building. The building's location is relatively simple, with the surrounding area primarily consisting of basic commercial facilities, and the business atmosphere is not strong. The inspection team successfully captured a full panoramic view of the building from the exterior and then entered the lobby without any obstacles. Upon entering, the inspection team discovered that there were no signage indicating the company's location, nor were they able to locate any signage corresponding to Office S 405.
Regarding the presence of Tradehall's logo inside and outside the building, the surveyors conducted a focused inspection of the lobby's public areas and the building's exterior, but found no trace of it. When they subsequently attempted to confirm the specific location on the 4th floor, they were denied access due to building regulations and restrictions on shared office spaces. They were unable to reach the specific floor, confirm the office location, or enter the company. During their visit, the surveyors learned that the building contained a shared office space and confirmed that the address listed for Tradehall belonged to the shared office, not to Tradehall itself, thus failing to verify its existence.
Further verification, including by questioning the shared office's front desk staff and reviewing the list of resident organizations, still failed to find any relevant information regarding Tradehall's presence, making it impossible to confirm whether the company operated at this location.
Therefore, the survey confirmed that Tradehall does not exist at the publicly listed address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Tradehall as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
