Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This inspection targeted YAIBrokers, a brokerage firm. Its publicly registered office address is 388 Exchange Tower, 29th Floor, Unit 2954 Sukhumvit Rd., Klongtoey, Bangkok, Thailand, 10110. The inspection team rigorously located and verified the address.
Upon arrival, the inspection team confirmed the building's modern and luxurious exterior, surrounded by high-end commercial facilities and financial institutions, and the vibrant streetscape evoked the core business district. The inspection team successfully captured panoramic views of the building. The inspection team then had unobstructed access to the building lobby, where clear signage indicated the occupants and functional areas, highlighting the main uses of each floor and the occupants. A preliminary search revealed no direct mention of YAIBrokers.
Following the address, the surveyors proceeded to the 29th floor and discovered that the entire floor was a shared office area, not a dedicated corporate office. To further verify, the surveyors inquired with the front desk staff at the shared office area whether YAIBrokers was located in Unit 2954. The front desk staff clearly stated that the company was not currently listed as a registered company, and that Unit 2954 was either temporarily vacant or rented out to a small team and had nothing to do with YAIBrokers.
Furthermore, the surveyors found no YAIBrokers logo on the building's exterior walls or in the shared office area on the 29th floor, and were unable to capture any images of the front desk or dedicated office area associated with the broker. While the address indicated a shared office area in a high-end commercial building, there was no evidence proving YAIBrokers' actual presence there, lacking the core evidence to support its operations.
Therefore, the survey confirmed that YAIBrokers did not exist at the aforementioned address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the YAIBrokers as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
