Purpose
The Singapore foreign exchange market is an emerging market that developed in the 1970s. With Singapore's growing status as a financial hub, its forex market has attracted numerous international investors and financial institutions due to its efficient trading mechanisms, robust regulatory framework, and diverse trading products. To help investors or professionals gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Singapore.
Process
The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker FX Management in Singapore as planned. According to public information, their office address is North Tower One Raffles Quay, Singapore - 048583.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Singapore according to a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the brokerage firm FX Management.
The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the claimed trading company FX Management located at North Tower One Raffles Quay, Singapore - 048583.
The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in a bustling area of Singapore with a clean surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. This is one of the most luxurious office buildings in Singapore. The inspectors photographed the building's directory and found that it is occupied entirely by globally renowned companies. However, no company signage or related information for FX Management was found on the exterior of the building.
The surveyor entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security personnel. After communication, they obtained permission to enter.
However, since the specific floor where the company is located could not be determined, the investigators were unable to reach the target floor and thus could not confirm its exact location. No signage for FX Management was found inside the building, making it impossible to ascertain whether its office area had clear markings or security measures, let alone gain access to the interior. Additionally, no photos of the reception desk or its logo were obtained, and the office space was confirmed not to be a shared workspace.
Due to the inability to enter the company premises, the field investigator could not observe the internal environment, decoration style, or employee activities. Overall, during this field investigation, no evidence was found to confirm the company's presence at this location.
Therefore, after on-site verification, it was confirmed that the broker FX Management does not exist at the above address.
Conclusion
The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker FX Management in Singapore as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, no information such as the company name of the broker was found, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
