Pathum Wan, Bangkok, Thailand
Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Bangkok as planned to verify the address of GAI CAPITAL, a foreign exchange broker. Its publicly listed office address is 497, 502 Phloen Chit Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
Upholding a sense of responsibility to verify the authenticity of the address for investors, the professional inspection team, after preliminary route planning and address confirmation, accurately arrived at the target building on Phloen Chit Road and began on-site inspection based on the publicly listed address.
The inspection team successfully arrived at the target building and captured a complete panoramic view of the building from the outside. The building's modern and simple exterior aligns with its commercial location in the area. The surrounding environment is bustling and well-equipped with business facilities.
The surveyors then went through the standard registration process and successfully entered the company lobby. They immediately checked the floor signage and the information machines in the public areas, focusing on the list of companies beginning with "G." After repeated verification, they found no GAI CAPITAL-related names on the machines, nor were there any office units or floors corresponding to numbers 497 and 502. There was no signage related to the brokerage firm within the building. A thorough inspection of the lobby and exterior of the building revealed no trace of the GAI CAPITAL logo.
To further verify, the surveyors contacted the lobby receptionist and property management staff, who stated that they had no information regarding GAI CAPITAL's occupancy and could not provide the brokerage firm's office floor or location. Therefore, the surveyors were unable to confirm the specific floor location, nor were they able to enter the company and photograph the GAI CAPITAL reception desk or logo. Communication with property management confirmed that the building's occupants were all dedicated offices, not shared offices, eliminating the possibility that shared offices may have caused the missing information.
Further inspections of the building and along Phloen Chit Road revealed no traces of GAI CAPITAL's offices or promotional signs, ultimately failing to confirm the existence of the broker at the listed address.
Therefore, the on-site inspection confirmed that GAI CAPITAL does not exist at the publicly listed address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the GAI CAPITAL as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
