Reason for this visit

Forex market is the worlds largest financial market, with daily trading volume hitting trillions of dollars. The major forex trading centers are London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, etc., and USD is the most traded currency. In recent years, the emerging forex brokers are attracting more invests and institutions to the market, especially the highly developed, liquid US forex market with a slew of participants. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the US, WikiFX survey team is determined to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit forex broker Takeoff Global as planned according to its purported regulatory address that 6883 Boardwalk Drive, Suite 130, Colorado Springs, CO 80919.

The investigators came to 6883 Boardwalk Drive in Colorado Springs of Colorado, US for an on-site visit to the brokers office. Upon reaching the location, the survey personnel spotted a residential area rather than a commercial area with high-rise buildings. Boardwalk Drive, a short street near N30th Street, is nestled among residential blocks.

However, after meticulously searching, the inspection team did not find the house number staring with “6,” except number 5053 and 5040. And then, they searched for 6883 Boardwalk Drive on Google Maps but found only an open space, devoid of any building or recognizable structure. This indicated that the address did not exist. Thus, Takeoff Global did not exist.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the company does not have a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit broker Takeoff Global as scheduled, but did not find the company at the aforementioned address. It indicates that the company does not have a physical business office at the place. Accordingly, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following much deliberation.
