Reasons for Field Survey

Turkey's foreign exchange market is highly active, with no foreign exchange controls. Residents can freely hold foreign currency and remit funds in and out without restrictions. In recent years, investor interest in Turkish forex trading has grown, attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, the field research team conducted a field visit to Turkey.

Field Survey Process

This issue's field research team traveled to Turkey as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker METRO. Publicly available information lists its office address as Büyükdere Cad. No:171 Metrocity A Blok Kat:17 1.Levent/İstanbul.

Upholding the responsibility of rigorously verifying information for investors, the professional field research team conducted an on-site visit to METRO, based on established plans and referring to the publicly available address, with the goal of revealing the broker's true operations.

The field research team traveled to the 1.Levent area of Istanbul, Turkey, and conducted an on-site verification of METRO's claimed location at Büyükdere Cad. No:171 Metrocity A Blok Kat:17 1.Levent/İstanbul. Upon arrival, the field research team confirmed that the office was located within Building A of the Metrocity office building. While the surrounding streets are not as densely populated as those in the core business district, the office atmosphere remains mature, allowing for successful panoramic photographs of the building. The METRO logo is clearly visible on the building's exterior, clearly demonstrating the company's connection to the building.

After entering the building's lobby, the surveyors located a prominent company sign clearly stating METRO and the corresponding Building A, 17th Floor. The signage matched the publicly listed office address, further confirming the company's authenticity. After explaining their purpose for the survey to the lobby receptionist, the staff clearly informed them that METRO is indeed located on the 17th floor. However, access to this floor requires prior appointment with the company. Elevator access cannot be provided without an appointment, and access to this floor requires a dedicated access control system. Outsiders are currently prohibited from entering.

Due to access restrictions, the surveyors were unable to access the 17th floor or the company's interior, and were unable to confirm the specific office locations. Furthermore, without access to the company's interior, they were unable to photograph the reception desk with the METRO logo, nor could they verify the internal office environment, the number of rooms, or the number of workstations. However, based on the building's exterior logo, lobby signage, and direct confirmation from front desk staff, it can be determined that the office space is exclusively owned by METRO, not a shared office, thus ruling out the possibility of a fabricated address.

Based on on-site verification, METRO's occupancy information has been verified through multiple scenarios, confirming its authenticity.

Therefore, the on-site inspection confirmed that METRO exists at the aforementioned address and has a legitimate office space.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited METRO as planned and observed the broker's company name displayed prominently at the publicly shown business address, indicating the physical presence of the broker's business. Investors are advised to take all factors into consideration before making a decision.
