Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Tokyo as planned to visit broker BOK Financial. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 13th Floor, Marklight Toranomon Building, 2-3-1 Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Based on this address, the professional inspection team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of BOK Financial.
The inspection team traveled to the Nishi-Shimbashi area of Minato-ku, Tokyo, and arrived at the Marklight Toranomon Building. The building's corporate campus and streetscape are well-maintained, with a strong commercial atmosphere, consistent with the characteristics of a financial district. From the building's exterior, the inspection team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and found no BOK Financial signage.
The inspection team successfully entered the building's lobby, which was consistent with the standards of a commercial building. Upon examining the lobby sign, they did not see the BOK Financial company name.
The inspection team went to the 13th floor and found only one company named "au" on that floor. There was no sign of BOK Financial, making it impossible to confirm its exact location, gain entry, or photograph the reception desk or its logo. The company's logo was not found anywhere inside or outside the building. The inspection confirmed that the location was not a shared office, further confirming that BOK Financial did not actually operate there.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that BOK Financial, a brokerage firm, did not have a physical business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker BOK Financial as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
