Reasons for Field Survey
The Russian foreign exchange market is one of the most important financial markets in Eastern Europe. Leveraging its abundant energy resources and growing economy, the Russian forex trading business has gradually flourished, attracting numerous international and local traders. To help investors gain a deeper understanding of the actual operations of forex traders in the region, a field research team conducted an on-site visit to Russia.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Russia as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Finzo Markets. Publicly available information lists its office address as Finzo Markets 34 Mashy Poryvaevoy Street, Moscow, 107078, Russia.
Dedicated to ensuring stringent investor safety, the professional and experienced field research team traveled to Russia according to a carefully planned visit. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to Finzo Markets.
Based on the address information, the field research team traveled to the relevant area in Moscow and conducted an on-site verification of the broker's location, which was claimed to be at 34 Mashy Poryvaevoy Street, Moscow, 107078, Russia.
Upon arrival, the field research team discovered that the location was not a commercial office space, but rather a supermarket. The surrounding environment was primarily retail, with no signs of office space, suggesting a lack of commercial office atmosphere. The field research team successfully captured a panoramic view of the supermarket building.
Because the building was a supermarket, the field research team was unable to enter areas such as the lobby and could only observe the exterior and surrounding areas. No signage related to Finzo Markets was found inside or around the supermarket. Naturally, no signage displaying the company's information was found inside the building. The company's logo was not visible on either the exterior or interior of the building.
The survey personnel were able to reach the specific location corresponding to the address, but because it was actually a supermarket, not an office, they were unable to enter the alleged company. On-site conditions clearly indicated that this was not a shared office, and there was no reception desk or logo available for photography, let alone a so-called internal office environment. Based on the on-site situation, the address did not match the one listed on the survey form, and no Finzo Markets office existed.
Therefore, the survey confirmed that the brokerage, Finzo Markets, did not exist at the aforementioned address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Finzo Markets as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
