Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the brokerage firm Fina. Publicly available information lists its office address as Level 11, Compass Offices, Toranomon, Minatoku, 105-01, Japan.
Based on this address, the professional field research team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of Fina.
The field research team traveled to the Toranomon area of Minato Ward, Tokyo, and arrived at the building at the address. The building's corporate campus and streetscape were average, with a moderate commercial atmosphere. From the exterior, the field research team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and found no Fina signage.
The field research team attempted to enter the building lobby but was unsuccessful, and therefore could not verify the company's name on the lobby sign. They learned that the building's 7th floor was a shared office, not the 11th floor as advertised. When the field research team contacted the receptionist at the shared office, they stated they could not provide client information, making it impossible to confirm whether Fina was located there.
Without access to the building and the target floor, the inspection team was unable to reach the specific floor and confirm the location. Naturally, they were unable to enter the company, nor were they able to photograph the reception desk or its logo. The company's logo was not found inside or outside the building. The location was confirmed to be a shared office, further confirming that Fina did not actually operate there.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that the trading company Fina did not have a physical business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker Fina as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
