Purpose

The Indonesia forex market is an emerging forex market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of Indonesia's economy and the gradual opening of its financial markets, forex trading has become increasingly active in the country. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Indonesia.

Process

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker XTB in Indonesia as planned. According to publicly available information, its office address is Treasury Tower,  Lantai 09 Unit N, District 8 SCBD Lot 28, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman Kav. 52 - 53, Kelurahan Senayan, Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan 12190.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously vet for investors, followed a meticulously planned itinerary to the target area in Indonesia. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker XTB, which claims to be located at the aforementioned address.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at Treasury Tower, which is situated in a bustling commercial district of Indonesia, surrounded by a vibrant environment and a strong business atmosphere. However, no signage or relevant information of the company was found outside the building.

The inspection personnel entered the lobby of the building and explained their purpose to the security guard. After communication, they obtained permission to enter the lobby. However, the company's information was not found on the directory board within the building.

Due to having no appointment and the absence of the company's information on the directory board, it was impossible to confirm whether the company existed. Consequently, the inspection personnel could not reach the specific floor and could not confirm the exact location. Simultaneously, due to these reasons, the inspection personnel could not enter the company's interior and were unable to photograph XTB's front area; the office was not a shared workspace.

Through the lobby area, due to distance and inability to enter, the internal environment of the company and other conditions could not be observed.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker XTB does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the foreign exchange broker XTB in Indonesia as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, they were unable to see any information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Please consider comprehensively before making your choice.
