Account Types

There are six trading accounts offered by FXActiv, namely Starting, Basic, Trader, Professional, Profit Maker and VIP. The minimum initial deposit to start a Starting account is $250, while the other five accounts require much higher initial capital, $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, and $50,000 respectively.

Leverage

In terms of trading leverage, the maximum level offered by FXActiv is quite generous, up to 100:1. Keep in mind that leverage can magnify gains as well as losses, inexperienced traders are not advised to use too high leverage.

Spreads & Commissions

Spreads are significantly affected by what type of accounts you are holding. The spread in the Starting accounts starts from 0.4 pips, the Basic account from 0.3 pips, and the Trader account from 0.2 pips. No specific information about commissions is involved directly on the website.

Trading Platform Available

When it comes to trading platforms available,FXActiv promises two trading platforms but actually delivers only one, MetaTrader4. However, the MT4 came with servers belonging to a totally different company and it turns out that clients of FXActiv cannot use the MT4 in its name. If you were to trade with the MT4 then you would be trading with a different broker.

Deposit & Withdrawal

FXActiv offers some deposit and withdrawal options: wire transfers and credit/debit cards like VISA and MasterCard. It is important to note that withdrawal time is generally between 4 to 7 days.
