Sandton Capital · Company summary

Basic Information & Regulation of Sandton Capital

Sandton Capital is a South African Forex and CFD broker that claims to be owned and operated by North Point Financial Services. Sandton Capital claims to be regulated by the FSCA in South Africa, but in reality, this license is suspected to be a fraudulent one.

Security Analysis of Sandton Capital

Sandton Capital claims to be regulated by the FSCA in South Africa, but in fact, this license is suspected to be a fraudulent license, as the licensee is Praesidium Fund Managers (PTY) Ltd. This means that Sandton Capital is an unregulated broker, and investors are not protected in any way by the safety of their funds and trading activities on the Sandton Capital platform. Investors should pay special attention when checking the broker's license to see if the real licensee, regulatory number, and registered address are the same as the actual office address to avoid loss of funds.

Markets Instruments

Sandton Capital offers traders a wide portfolio of products, mainly Forex currency pairs, stocks, commodities, indices, and CFDs on the two most popular cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum).

Accounts & Leverage of Sandton Capital

To meet the investment needs and trading experience of different investors, Sandton Capital offers four different types of accounts: Starter Account (minimum initial deposit of $100), Classic Account (minimum initial deposit of $1,000), Gold Account (minimum initial deposit of $5,000), and Executive Account (minimum initial deposit of $10,000). All accounts have a maximum leverage of 1:200, and Sandton Capital does not offer demo accounts for investors.

Spreads & Commissions of Sandton Capital

Sandton Capital does not provide product-specific spreads but only indicates that the spreads on the starter account are regular and the spreads on the Classic account are lower than those on the starter account. Gold accounts feature low spreads, while Executive accounts have ultra-low spreads. Many brokers usually claim to offer very low and competitive spreads to investors, but without providing specific spreads, it is most likely just a gimmick to attract new investors.

Trading Platforms Available

Sandton Capital offers traders not the most popular MT4 trading platform on the market today but a web-based trading platform.

Pros & Cons of Sandton Capital

The main advantages of Sandton Capital are:

1. Abundance of tradable assets

2. An acceptable minimum initial deposit

3. Four types of trading accounts to choose from

The main disadvantages of Sandton Capital are:

1. Arbitrage & unregulated

2. No specific spreads provided

3. Non-MT4/MT5 trading platforms

4. No information on deposit and withdrawal options

Scam. First, my contact information fall to them when I subscribed to a fake website with news about crypto. After that, a lot of scam trading companies keep calling me every day. No matter how badly I treat them on the phone, they keep calling me every single day for 6 months already.
