Zions Direct is a FINRA registered broker/dealer and non-bank subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation, N.A. Its affiliates include Amegy Bank, California Bank & Trust, The Commerce Bank of Washington, National Bank of Arizona, Nevada State Bank, Vectra Bank, Zions Bank. Zions operates over 480 full-service banking offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Products & Services

Zions Direct provides investors with Bonds and CDs (Certificates of Deposit), Stocks and Options, Mutual Funds and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). In addition, Zions Direct meets customers investment, wealth advisory, and banking needs by providing estate and trust planning services, home and business loans, checking and saving accounts, and other banking services.

Accounts

Zion Direct offers Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, Brokerage Account and Margin Account. Roth IRAs are retirement accounts where contributions are made on an after tax basis and withdrawals are tax-free. Traditional IRAs are retirement accounts where contributions are made on a pre-tax basis and withdrawals are taxable.

Commissions

The commissions vary from product to product. For example, in terms of Stocks and ETFs, online trades is $0.005 per share, minimum is $5.00 and maximum is 1.0% of trade value.
