General Information & Regulation

Based in Nicosia, Cyprus, PatronFX is a regulated online brokerage firm founded in 2015. Forex TB Limited, the owner of PatronFX remains fully compliant with CySEC, registration number 272/15. The PatronFX website is available in English, German, Dutch, Polish and Italian.

Market Instruments

PatronFX allows traders to trade on over 270 financial instruments from different asset classes, such as forex, commodities, stocks, indices, CFDs, and cryptocurrencies.

PatronFX Minimum Deposit

Four account types exist at PatronFX platform. The minimum deposit to open a Basic account is $250, which sounds affordable for regular traders. The Gold account requires a high initial deposit of €25,000, incredibly high. While the Platinum and the VIP account even requires a minimum intial deposit of €100，000 and €250,000, respectively.

PatronFX Leverage

Trading leverage varies depending on retail and professional traders. There are leverage restrictions of 1:30 for retail clients, while Professional clients qualify for a maximum leverage of up to 1:400.

Spreads & Commissions

PatronFX is a market maker which provides a commission-free trading environment. The minimum spreads commence from 3.2 pips for the EUR/USD and increases from there for other currency pairs. The best offer is in the VIP account, which requires a minimum deposit of $250,000 for a mark-up of 1.8 pips. Swap rates on leveraged overnight positions apply.

Trading Platform

PatronFX offers clients the highly popular out-of-the-box MT4 trading platform. MT4 is equipped with a range of useful features, such as one-click trading and support for automated trading using expert advisors (EAs). Traders can view real time price quotes of over 270 instruments. MT4 platform has a plethora of built-in trading tools for conducting thorough market analysis across multiple chart timeframes, available in desktop, web, and mobile versions.
