The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) is the single regulator of financial services in Malta established on 23 July 2002 through the Act of Parliament (Chapter 330 of the Laws of Malta). MFSA’s main functions are the protection of consumers, integrity of financial markets, financial stability and the supervision of all financial services activities,which include banking, financial institutions, payment institutions, insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, investment services companies and collective investment schemes, securities markets, recognised investment exchanges, trust management companies, company services providers and pension schemes. MFSA also holds an advisory role to Government in the formulation of policies on matters relating to the financial services industry.

MFSA Warning - Draconis Investment Limited - Unlicensed Exchange AUGUST 10, 2020 Share The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) has become aware of an entity operating under the name of Draconis Investment Limited which has an internet presence at https://draconisinvestment.com. The entity purports to be “an Award winning forex Automated trader” and “The world's latest blockchain-powered online business platform”, “providing trading services and financial support for both retail and institutional clients”. The MFSA wishes to alert the public, in Malta and abroad, that Draconis Investment Limited is NOT licensed or otherwise authorised by the MFSA to provide the service of an exchange or other financial services which are required to be licensed or otherwise authorised under Maltese law. The public should therefore refrain from undertaking any business or transactions with the above-mentioned entities. The MFSA would like to remind consumers of financial services not to enter into any financial services transaction unless they have ascertained that the entity with whom the transaction is being made is authorised to provide such services by the MFSA or another reputable financial services regulator. Investors are advised to be extra cautious when being approached with offers of financial services via unconventional channels such as telephone calls or social media.
