Reason for this visit

To help investors have good knowledge of regulated brokers in Cyprus, the survey team this time visited Leverate, a broker based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Regulatory information

According to the regulatory information, the broker Leverate has the MM license issued by CySEC and located at 88, Agias Fylaxeos, Zavos City Center - 4th Floor, P. O. Box 56943, CY-3311 Limassol. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

On-site visit

The survey team followed the address on the regulatory information to an office building located at 88, Agias Fylaxeos, Limassol, Cyprus. The building named "Zavos City Center" stands out in the street and looks quite high-end. On the directory outside the building, the survey team saw the the logo of Leverate.    

Entering the office building, the survey team came to the elevator and found a directory with the broker Leverate's logo on it, indicating that the broker's office was in Room 401.  

To complete this on-site visit, the survey team took the elevator to the 4th floor. Outside the office, they could clearly see the logo of Leverate. However, they failed to get inside the office in the end. 

Conclusion

It is confirmed after the survey team’s site visit that Leverate’s office indeed is located at the regulatory address. Furthermore, the logo of broker can be clearly seen on the directory inside and outside the building. Also, there is a logo of Leverate hang outside the office. Unfortunately, the team was unable to enter the broker's office so that the office scale and operation condition of which remained unknown. Please be prudent when trading with this broker.
