Jalan Tun Mustapha, Sabah, Malaysia

Purpose
The Malaysian foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that has been continuously developing in recent years. With the growth of the local economy and the gradual opening of financial markets, forex trading activities have become increasingly active. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, an on-site inspection team visited Malaysia for field research.
Process
The on-site inspection team visited the foreign exchange broker CDG in Malaysia as planned. According to public information, its office address is Office 11, Jamie Robin Business Centre 1, Unit F10, 1st Floor, Paragon Labuan, Jalan Tun Mustapha, 87000 Labuan F.T..
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously vet for investors, follows a meticulous plan to visit the target area in Malaysia and conduct on-site verification of the trader CDG claimed to be located at the address.
The inspector successfully arrived at Paragon Labuan. The surrounding environment of the location is relatively ordinary. This building is actually a serviced apartment, with some companies and shared offices on the second floor. No CDG company logo or related information was found on the exterior of the building.
The field investigator entered the building lobby and, after stating their purpose to the security personnel, obtained entry permission. However, no signage for CDG company was found inside the building, nor was the company's logo visible.
Since no company-related information was found in the building, the inspection personnel were unable to reach the specific floor and confirm the exact location, nor could they enter the company's premises. Naturally, they were also unable to photograph the reception area or the logo at the reception. This office is not a shared workspace.
Through the lobby area, as it is not possible to enter the company's interior, the internal office environment and other conditions cannot be observed.
Therefore, after on-site verification, it was confirmed that the dealer CDG does not exist at the above address.
Conclusion
The on-site investigator visited the foreign exchange dealer in Malaysia as planned, CDG, but could not find any information such as the company name at the publicly displayed business address, indicating that the dealer does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
