Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.

Field Survey Process

For this round, the field survey team planned to visit the broker FIRST in Hong Kong. According to public information, its office is located in Room B, 5th Floor, Gaylord Commercial Building, 114-118 Lockhart Road, Hong Kong.

The professional survey team, committed to its responsibility towards investors, carried out a field verification on FIRST based on the provided address.

The surveyors went to the Lockhart Road area in Hong Kong and arrived at the Gaylord Commercial Building. The building is rather old, with an average company park and street environment, narrow corridors that can only accommodate two people at a time, giving a cramped impression, along with a small elevator. Panorama of the building outside was clearly captured by surveyors, but they found no signs of FIRST.

Surveyors successfully entered the building's lobby, whose environment aligns with the characteristics of an old commercial building. Upon reviewing the lobby directory, they couldn't locate FIRST's company name, hence couldn't get any direction for its location.

The surveyors took the elevator to the 5th floor, but upon careful inspection of the floor, they didn't find any information related to FIRST, nor any company logos inside the building. Thus, the surveyors couldn't confirm its exact location while also being unable to gain entry to the company, and as such, couldn't capture any images of the reception desk or its logo. It was confirmed that this location isn't a co-working space, confirming that FIRST does not operate out of here.

Therefore, after the field survey, it was confirmed that the broker FIRST does not have a real operational venue.

They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location.
