Many FX dealers take obtaining FCA regulation for pride, and also hope to enter the country to develop market business. To help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of the dealers in that country, the survey team is going to UK for site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the dealer CBF in London, UK, with the specific address at 36 - 38 Leadenhall STreeT London EC3A 1AT UNITED KINGDOM.

According to the above address, the survey team came to the destination of this survey, an office building located at 36 Leadenhall STreeT, London, UK. According to the regulatory information, the office of CBF is located at 36-38 Leadenhall STreeT. The surveyors found the office building No. 36. However, the building No. 38 was not found. The building No. 36 is a modern one but looks a bit old in appearance. Since the building is not located in a professional office block, the surroundings of it is not very prosperous. 

The surveyors successfully found the directory of building. However, they did not find the logo or other information of CBF, the foreign exchange dealer. At the same time, they found no one at the front desk.

Conclusion

The survey team went to London, UK, to visit the the dealer CBF and found no office at its regulatory address.  In other words, the given business address might be fake. Please be prudent when trading with this broker.
