A Visit to MatrixFX Trade in Malta -- No Office Found
Danger Malta

Reason for this visit

After joining the European Union in May 2004 and starting to use the euro on January 1, 2008, Malta's economy has gradually integrated with the euro area economy, eliminating exchange rate risks, reducing transaction costs, and creating a favorable environment for foreign investors. Malta is one of the EU countries least affected by the financial crisis due to its stricter financial regulation, fewer liquidity problems in its financial system, diversified investment tendencies, and its financial institutions’ investment in blue-chip stocks or bonds. Malta implements the free flow of foreign exchange. Foreign exchange can be bought and sold freely, and foreign capital can freely enter and leave Malta. Foreign-funded enterprises can freely open foreign currency accounts in banks and store foreign currency, and can also freely remit profits made in Malta without paying special taxes. In order to help investors have a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange dealers in Malta, the field survey team is going to the country for on-site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team went to Malta to visit the foreign exchange dealer MatrixFX Trade as planned, and the survey address was 168 St. Christopher Street Valleta VLT1467 Malta.

According to the above address, the survey personnel came to the destination of this survey, which was a residential area adjacent to the beach. The investigators did not see any water signs, lobby or reception, nor any trademarks around the building. They did not find any information about the foreign exchange dealer MatrixFX Trade near the destination.

The investigators knocked on the door of the building, and a woman inside said that this was the office of NSFX, and that she had never heard of MatrixFX Trade. The investigators confirmed that the trader MatrixFX Trade does not have an office here.

Conclusion

The investigators went to Malta to visit the foreign exchange dealer MatrixFX Trade as planned, but did not find the dealer's office at its publicly displayed business address. The dealer may have just registered a company at this address without a real business venue. Please choose this dealer carefully.
