A Visit to Eurotrade Capital Ltd in the UK - No Office Found
Danger United Kingdom

Reason for this visit

The UK forex market ranks among the world‘s largest and is the biggest in Europe. Oversight of this market primarily falls to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which regulates financial services firms and markets to ensure fairness, transparency, and stability. Globally recognized as a highly credible regulator, the FCA maintains stringent standards. Despite Brexit’s economic impact, the UK forex market remains optimistic. As one of the world‘s top forex trading hubs, coupled with the FCA’s rigorous supervision, the UK continues to attract investors and institutions, boosting market liquidity and growth. Many forex brokers pride themselves on securing FCA authorization and seek to expand operations in this jurisdiction. To help investors and professionals better understand UK forex brokers, WikiFX survey team conducted on-site visits across the country, verifying operational authenticity and compliance.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to London in the UK to visit forex broker Eurotrade Capital Ltd as planned according to its regulatory address that The Bower, 207-211 Old Street, London, England, EC1V 9NR.

A seasoned and professional inspection team, committed to safeguarding investor interests, conducted a meticulously planned on-site verification of the forex broker Eurotrade Capital Ltd at The Bower in a comprehensive commercial district of London, UK.

The area is home to a landmark complex on Old Street, renowned for its modern workspaces and vibrant dining amenities, exuding a sophisticated and professional ambiance. The building boasts a contemporary and imposing exterior, aligning with its prime location in Londons central business district.

The investigators easily accessed the building‘s lobby. The lobby features a sleek, minimalist design with ample lighting. While the waiting area is not opulent, it is tastefully appointed, with an eye-catching, intricately designed ceiling. The lobby includes a reception desk, two elevators, and a staircase. The team’s first task was to inspect the tenant directory in the lobby. After carefully reviewing all listed companies, they found no record of “Eurotrade Capital Ltd.”

With no results from the directory, the team proceeded to inquire at the reception desk. They explicitly stated their purpose: to locate the office of “Eurotrade Capital Ltd.” The receptionist, after checking the system, confirmed that they had never heard of the company and that no office under that name was registered or operating in the building.

The team further examined both the interior lobby and exterior entrance areas but found no company signage (logo) related to “Eurotrade Capital Ltd.” There were no visual indicators of the company‘s presence—whether on the building’s exterior, entrance, or public interior spaces. As the front desk had confirmed the companys absence and the directory yielded no records, the team could not obtain specific floor or room details, nor could they attempt to verify or access the purported “office location” for an internal inspection.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the broker does not maintain a physical presence at the above address.

Conclusion

The survey team went to London in the UK to visit forex broker Eurotrade Capital Ltd as scheduled but did not find the company at its regulatory address. It denotes that the broker does not have a physical office or it just utilizes the address solely for registration purposes. Accordingly, investors should be meticulous in selecting the broker.
