Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.

Field Survey Process

The field survey team went to Hong Kong as planned to visit the broker Guotai, whose office address is shown as Room 1506, Building 1, Waterfront Plaza, 18 Defeng Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 

The professional and experienced survey team took on the task of strictly verifying the broker Guotai on behalf of the investors.

Surveyors went to the Hung Hom area in Kowloon, Hong Kong based on the address information to investigate the broker Guotai, who claimed to be located at Room 1506, Building 1, Waterfront Plaza, 18 Defeng Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon.

Surveyors successfully arrived at Building 1 of Waterfront Plaza where the address is located. The building is located in Hung Hom, Kowloon, near the sea with a good location and environment. However, no markings related to Guotai were found by surveyors at the building exterior.

Surveyors entered the lobby of the building smoothly. However, upon examining the plaque in the lobby, they found that there was no mention of Guotai. Furthermore, no logo of Guotai was found either inside or outside the building.

Surveyors went to the 15th floor and confirmed the exact location of Room 1506. However, upon reaching the location, they discovered that it was not Guotai's office but another company dealing with overseas investment immigration. Since the actual office belongs to a different company, surveyors couldn't access the so-called Guotai. An observation of the overall building indicated that the address is not a shared office and there were no visible markings of Guotai from outside or within the building.

Therefore, after the field survey, it was confirmed that the broker Guotai does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the Forex broker GUOTAI as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
