Inspection Reason

Some investors made phone call to the inspection team for more information of New Zealand licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its regulation address. In response to investors’ strong need, our survey personal went to FMO in New Zealand to know more about it.

Office

According to the regulation information, the New Zealand licensed broker FMO is located at Level 12, 120 Albert Street, Auckland. The survey personal then visited this place.

With the help of map navigation, the survey personnel found the ordinary high-rise building as indicated by the regulatory information without difficulty.

The survey personnel then entered the building. Under the guidance of the regulatory information, the survey personnel took the elevator at 5-15 and reached 12 floor.

The surveyed personnel found a floor guide in the corridor on the 12th floor. According to the guide, we learned that FMO's office is not on this floor. In order to ensure the correctness of the survey result, the survey personnel asked the employees of other companies on the 12th floor. The person being asked said that he did not know anything about FMO.

Conclusion

After the on-site survey, it was confirmed that the actual address of the New Zealand licensed dealer FMO was inconsistent with the regulatory address. Although the dealer is a licensed dealer, the financial services business license issued by the New Zealand FSP with a reference number of 385826 has been verified as a clone license.
