Tras Street, Central, Singapore
Purpose
The Singapore foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that developed in the 1970s alongside the rise of the Asian Dollar Market. As the world's fourth-largest forex trading hub, it boasts a strategic geographical location, bridging the time zones between Tokyo and London, offering flexible trading hours, and attracting a diverse range of market participants, including banks, financial institutions, and multinational corporations. To help investors or professionals gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, an on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Singapore.
Process
The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker Capital Peak in Singapore as planned. According to public information, its office address is Union Building 171 Tras Street, #08 - 171A Singapore 079025.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, meticulously planned and traveled to Singapore to conduct an on-site verification of the broker Capital Peak, which claims to be located at Union Building 171 Tras Street, #08 - 171A Singapore 079025.
The inspection personnel successfully arrived at Union Building, which is located in a bustling area of Singapore with a strong commercial atmosphere and clean, tidy streets. No company signage or related information for Capital Peak was found on the exterior of the building.
The surveyor entered the building lobby and, after explaining their purpose to the security personnel, obtained permission to proceed. They photographed the building directory. Upon reaching the target floor (8th floor), the surveyor noticed that there were no clear signs indicating the Capital Peak office area. Due to the lack of relevant signage and the inability to confirm the exact office location, the surveyor could not enter the interior and was unable to photograph the reception desk or its logo. This office is not a shared workspace.
Through the common areas of the floor, the inspectors were unable to observe the internal environment of the so-called Capital Peak company, and the overall situation did not match its claimed positioning. It was ultimately confirmed that the trading firm Capital Peak does not exist at the aforementioned address.
Conclusion
The inspection team visited the forex broker Capital Peak in Singapore as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, no information such as the company name of the broker was found, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business location. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
