Reason for this visit

To help investors have good knowledge of regulated brokers in Cyprus, the survey team this time visited EPPE Forex, a broker based in Limassol, Cyprus. 

Regulatory information

According to the regulatory information, the broker EPPE Forex has the MM license issued by CySEC and located at 11, Grigori Afxentiou Street, Imperio Centro Building, Office 301, 4003 Limassol. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

On-site visit

The survey team followed the regulatory address and arrived at an building at 11, Grigori Afxentiou Street. The building, named Imperio Centro, is quite new, and stands out on the street.  

The survey team found that there was no logo of broker EPPE Forex on the directory outside the building or lobby. Later, they took the elevator to the 3rd floor where they also didn’t see the logo or any other information of EPPE Forex. However, they found the logo of TrioMarkets on the mailbox of Office 301. To confirm whether EPPE Forex was operated there, the team asked the staff for information. In the end, the team learned that EPPE Forex and TrioMarkets referred to the same company.

Conclusion

The team’s site visit confirmed the the existing office place of EPPE Forex at the regulatory address. However, the office place bears the logo of TrioMarkets, and it is learned that EPPE Forex and TrioMarkets refer to the same company. Thorough consideration is suggested for making any choice.
