A Visit to IX Securities in the Bahamas -- No Office Found
Danger Bahamas

Reason for this visit

The Bahamas is one of the richest countries in the Caribbean, with a GDP per capita second only to the United States and Canada among the 156 countries in the Western Hemisphere. The Bahamas was once a British colony and its stable parliamentary democracy is based on British law. The country does not have much negative news in the foreign exchange market, which means it is fundamentally different from the notorious tax haven. The Bahamian government complies with the OECD's global anti-money laundering guidelines and harmonized reporting standards, and Bahamian companies are recognized by financial institutions in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. In order to help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange dealers in the Bahamas, the survey team is going to the country for on-site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team went to the Bahamas to visit the foreign exchange dealer IX Securities as planned. The survey address is 109 Church Street, Sandyport, Marina Village, Nassau, Bahamas.

The survey personnel came to the destination of the current survey according to the above address. The destination is located in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, which is adjacent to the North Atlantic Ocean of the United States. It is a small street. There are no more than 10 surrounding buildings and there are no clear street number plates. On one side of the street are churches and government buildings, and on the other side are cemeteries.

Since there were not many buildings, the investigators searched all the houses in the street, but did not find No. 109 or any buildings with the dealer's name. The investigators confirmed that the dealer's office does not exist here.

Conclusion

The investigators went to the Bahamas to visit the foreign exchange dealer IX Securities as planned, but did not find the dealer's office at its publicly displayed business address. The dealer may have just registered a company at this address without a real business venue. Please choose this dealer carefully.
