Purpose
The Hong Kong foreign exchange market, which developed in the 1970s, is an international forex market. As one of the global financial centers, it holds a significant position in worldwide forex trading due to its highly open and active trading environment, as well as advanced financial infrastructure. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, an on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Hong Kong, China.
Process
The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker Marex Spectron in Hong Kong, China as planned. According to public information, its office address is 3106 - 11, 31/F, ICBC Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, meticulously planned and visited the Bank of China Tower at 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, China. Their objective was to conduct an on-site verification of the dealer Marex Spectron, who claimed to be located in Room 3106-11 on the 31st floor of the aforementioned address.
The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the Bank of China Tower, located in the heart of Central, Hong Kong. The surrounding environment is average, with a strong commercial atmosphere. No company signage or related information was found on the exterior of the building.
The surveyor entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security or staff. After communication, they obtained permission to enter the building. The surveyor found the company's directory plaque inside, confirming the company's presence.
However, since card access was required, the front desk informed us that an advance appointment was necessary for entry, otherwise access would be denied. As a result, the survey personnel were unable to reach the target floor (31st floor) to confirm the exact location or enter the company premises. They could not photograph the reception area or its logo, and this office is not a shared workspace.
Through the public area of the lobby, the inspectors could not observe the internal office environment of the company, but the overall situation was consistent with its claimed positioning.
Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that the dealer Marex Spectron exists at the above address.
Conclusion
The on-site investigator visited the forex broker Marex Spectron in Hong Kong, China as planned. The broker's company signage and other information were visible at the publicly displayed business address, indicating the broker has a genuine operational premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
