Reason for this visit

According to the Reuters, the United Kingdom has expanded its leading position in the field of global FX trading in the years since it voted to leave the European Union. In addition, the British retail foreign exchange market has one of the world's three most stringent regulatory bodies, that is the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Many FX dealers take obtaining FCA regulation for pride, and also hope to enter the country to develop market business. To help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of the dealers in that country, the survey team is going to UK for site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the dealer Zenfinex in London, UK, with the specific address at One Mayfair Place Mayfair London W1J 8AJ UNITED KINGDOM.

According to the above address, the survey team came to the destination of this survey. It was located in the prime lot of London, next to Green Park, one of London's Royal Parks. And the office was in a protected historic building and the entire building was leased as a shared office, with Zenfinex as a sub-tenant.

In the beginning, the surveyors did not find any information about the dealer Zenfinex in the lobby. Later, they were told by the receptionist that the company's name or logo only appeared in the rented sublet units. And the office of the dealer Zenfinex was indeed inside the building. Also, the receptionist agreed to let the surveyors in, but only if they were accompanied by security personnel. However, the surveyors were not allowed to photograph the public areas of the building.

After walking through a corridor of shared pantries and shared meeting rooms, the surveyors found the office of the dealer Zenfinex. Entering the office, they found that the office was quite small with about 5 workstations and a chalkboard in the middle with their work schedule written on it. And the company logo was posted on the wall of the office, which proved that the the office was real.

Conclusion

The survey team went to London, UK, to visit the dealer Zenfinex. It was confirmed that the dealer’s office was indeed located at the exhibition address. However, please be prudent when trading with this broker.
