Purpose

The Egyptian foreign exchange market is an emerging market that has developed in recent years. With the gradual opening of Egypt's economy and the continuous development of its financial markets, the importance of foreign exchange trading in Egypt has become increasingly prominent. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Egypt.

Process

The on-site inspection team visited the foreign exchange broker City Capital in Egypt as planned. According to public information, its office address is 4 Attia Al - Sawalhi Street, Tower 2, Al - Sarraj Mall, 5th floor, Nasr City.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, meticulously planned and traveled to Egypt to conduct an on-site verification of the trader City Capital reportedly located at 4 Attia Al-Sawalhi Street, Tower 2, Al-Sarraj Mall, 5th floor, Nasr City.

The field investigator successfully arrived at the target building, located in Nasr City. Although the surrounding environment was not clearly presented, upon arrival, a comparison with Google Maps confirmed it was the correct address. However, no commercial atmosphere related to City Capital was observed in the vicinity, nor were any company logos or relevant information found on the exterior of the building.menpai1

The surveyor entered the building lobby, stated their purpose to the security guard, and was granted access permission.

Upon arriving at the target floor (5th floor), the field investigator found that the office area of City Capital had no clear signage or relevant security measures. After entering, only a mobile phone store was visible, with no information about the trading company. Since there was no actual office space for the said trader in this location, the investigator could not access the so-called interior, nor take photos of the reception area or its logo. Additionally, this area was not a shared office space.

Through the common areas of the floor, since there is no City Capital office space, there is no possibility of observing the internal environment of the company.

Therefore, after on-site verification, it was confirmed that the broker City Capital does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the foreign exchange broker City Capital in Egypt as planned. However, they could not find any information such as the company name at the publicly displayed business address, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine operational location. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
