BNB Chain กำลังเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับ Pascal Hard Fork ซึ่งจะเปิดตัวบนเครือข่ายหลัก (mainnet) ในช่วงกลางเดือนมีนาคม 2025 และบนเครือข่ายทดสอบ (testnet) ภายในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ การอัปเกรดครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อเพิ่มความเข้ากันได้กับ Ethereum
โดยนำ Smart Contract Wallets มาใช้งาน ซึ่งเป็นฟีเจอร์เดียวกับที่คาดว่าจะถูกเพิ่มเข้ามาใน Pectra Hard Fork ของ Ethereum
