One day, I saw a perfect opportunity to trade on the S&P 500 index. The market was volatile, and I aimed to capitalize on a predicted rise. I placed a buy order when the index was at 3300, expecting a quick execution to take advantage of the upward trend. However, due to the wide spreads at STB Markets, my buy order effectively started at 3305, costing me an immediate 5 points more than anticipated. This wider gap meant my potential profits were significantly reduced right from the start. Then came the issue with order execution speed. Instead of capturing the 3305 price, my order was executed several minutes later at 3310 because of the sluggish system, missing the initial jump I had spotted. By the time my trade was live, I had missed the optimal entry point, reducing my profit margin even further. To make matters worse, when I tried to reach out to customer service to discuss the delay and see if there was a way to mitigate this in future trades, I found them offline. I sent emails and waited for a live chat that never came online. It left me feeling stranded, without support, and frustrated with the lack of immediate assistance.
