Intra-day view: AUD/USD jumped to open higher after the opening today. The upward momentum has slightly strengthened, and the AUD/USD is likely to rise, facing strong resistance at 0.6620. Support is at 0.6570, followed by 0.6555. 1-3 week view: We have been negative on the AUD/USD since early last month. AUD/USD jumped to a higher open today and rose above 0.6600. Although our strong resistance levels have not been significantly breached, the downward momentum has largely abated. From here, the AUD/USD is expected to trade between 0.6535 and 0.6655.
