It seems gold has scaled a peak for the time being, with consistent price rises for weeks before a fall. Continuing the price fall of yesterday, gold prices further dipped on August 20, 2025, across carats. ​ The 24K gold price for one gram dropped by INR 60 to INR 10,015 from yesterday’s closing of INR 10,075. This made the 10-gram price fall from INR 1,00,750 to INR 1,00,150. ​Concurrently, the per-gram price of 22K gold nosedived to INR 9,180 from INR 9,235 a day ago. The 10-gram price thus dropped to INR 91,800 from INR 92,350.
