Acier FX Ltd previously ArgusFX Ltd which operates under the domain «Argusfx.com» is authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under CIF License Number 334/17. Established in 2000, ArgusFX is a STP broker, offering forex, commodities & indices CFDs, as well as precious metals on the popular MetaTrader 4 platform.

Market Instruments

Tradable financial instruments offered by ArgusFX include Indices CFDs, Spot Metals, Forex, Futures, and Stocks.

Minimum Deposit

Two different types of trading accounts are offered on the ArgusFX platform, the Standard STP account, and the Pro STP account. The Standard account requires no minimum initial deposit, while the Pro account has a minimum initial deposit of $200.

Leverage

ArgusFX offers a default leverage limit of 1:30 for major currency pairs and less for other assets. Clients can apply for higher leverage if they meet certain criteria.

Spreads & Commissions

The average spread offered by ArgusFX is 1.9 pips for EURUSD, 2.1 pips for EURGBP, 0.6 pips for EURJPY, 4 pips for XAUUSD, and 2.2 pips for XAGUSD. Objectively speaking, the spreads offered by ArgusFX are relatively high, and high spreads mean high transaction costs.

Trading Platform

ArgusFX offers traders the market-leading and highly acclaimed MT4 trading platform, as well as MT4 Desktop, MT4 Mobile, and MT4 Mobile App. The MT4 trading platform allows traders to access various currency pairs, analyze financial markets, and perform advanced trading operations, including the ECN/STP environment, EA (Expert Advisor) functionality, technical analysis with charts and indicators, allowing hedging and scalping.

Deposit & withdrawal

ArgusFX supports traders to deposit funds via VISA/MasterCard credit card (deposit fee: 1.35 EUR/USD or 5.6 PLN, withdrawal fee: 1.8% of the amount withdrawn), wire transfer (no fees for deposits, withdrawal fees from 5 EUR to 15.5 EUR), Skrill (no deposits fees, withdrawals: 1.8% of the amount withdrawn), Neteller (no deposits fees, withdrawals: 1.8% of the amount withdrawn), Yandex Money (2% fee for deposits, withdrawals: €0.30 or currency equivalent).

Trading Hours

Trading hours for stocks are 16:30 – 23:00 (GMT+2), Monday to Friday and for commodities, trading takes place between 01:05 and 23:55 GMT+2, Monday to Friday. For currencies, hours are from 00:00 Monday until 23:00 Friday (GMT+2). Specific times for all other assets are listed in the contract specifications.
