I have been testing the waters with Ultima Markets, both the Australian and Cypriot versions. I appreciate the fact that both are regulated by credible agencies - ASIC and CySEC, respectively - it reassures me that they are under close observation and regulatory boundaries.
Their tradable assets are varied, providing a nice buffet of forex, metals, indices, shares CFDs, and crypto. Tried some trades with my standard account and was pleasantly surprised with raw spreads. Being an MT4 fan, their platform suite was right up my alley.
However, I did find the minimum deposit for the Pro ECN account a steep step-up from the other accounts. Also, details like demo account availability and payment methods were unclear, which made it a bit harder to navigate my experience. So overall, a good run, but with space for some improvements.
