High levels of slippage were quite disconcerting. Due to this, trades were frequently executed at prices far away from my intended ones, thereby leading to unexpected and unwanted losses. To add to the complications, the large spreads offered by MC significantly limited my potential profits, especially on short-term trades. For finance geeks, MC's spreads were often between 3-4 pips for major pairs, a number considerably higher than the industry average.
