Account Types

Apart from demo accounts, WAM-Capital claims to offer four types of trading accounts, namely Micro, Standard, Premium and VIP. The minimum amount to open the basic account type (Micro account) is €200. In comparison, licensed brokers allow setting up a starter account with a minimum deposit of $100 or even less.

Account Types

Leverage

The leverage provided by WAM-Capital is adjusted based on the account type. Clients on the Micro account can enjoy the maximum leverage of 1:500, while the other three account types can experience leverage of 1:300, 1:100 and 1:100 separately. It is important to keep in mind that the greater the leverage, the greater the risk of losing your deposited capital. The use of leverage can both work in your favour and against you. However, according to the regulations, British and Australian brokers have to limit their clients to 1:30, while US brokers cant provide more than 1:50.

Spreads & Commissions

All spreads with WAM-Capital are a floating type and scaled with the accounts offered. As for the commission, there are no commissions on the Micro and Standard accounts, while $6/€5 per round-turn standard lot for the Premium and VIP accounts.

Trading Platform Available

Instead of the world's most advanced and popularly-used MT4 and MT5 platforms, WAM-Capital gives traders a Webtrader. Anyway, you had better choose brokers who offer the leading MT4 and MT5, which are highly praised by traders and brokers alike due to their ease of use and great functionality, offering top-notch charting and flexible customization options. They are especially popular for their automated trading bots, a.k.a. Expert Advisors.

Deposit & Withdrawal

WAM-Capital accepts deposits and withdrawals via bank transfers and credit/debit cards like Visa and MasterCard. While the logos on their website shows more payment options, but not available. The minimum initial deposit requirement is said to be €200. The broker says that no deposit fees are charged.

The time it takes for the money to reach your bank account that has been used to deposit funds may vary (usually up to 5 business days). Note that it might take longer for withdrawals to bank accounts due to the additional security procedures in force.

Bonuses & Fees

WAM-Capital offers some bonuses, however, the bonus is not available for withdrawal unless they are explicitly agreed upon. In any case, you should be very cautious if you receive a bonus. Bonuses aren't client funds, they're company funds, and fulfilling the heavy requirements that are usually attached to them can prove a very daunting and difficult task. Note that brokers are prohibited from using bonuses and promotions by all leading regulators.

Bonuses

Also, if there are no transactions (deposits, withdrawals or trading activity) on your Trading Account for at least 6 months or more, the broker will block the account.
